Gay's Granola Recipe

Gay's Granola

Mix together in large bowl

1/4 cup plus 2 Tbs. Brown Sugar
1/4 cup plus 2 Tbs. Maple Syrup
1/4 cup Vegetable Oil
3/4 tsp. (or less) Salt

Add

3 cups Rolled Oats (old fashioned)
1 cup Slivered or Chopped Almonds
1 cup Shredded Sweet Coconut

Stir until all is well coated


Preheat oven to 250 degrees
Separate mixture and place on 2 cookie sheets
Cook for 1hr. & 15min. stirring every 15 minutes.

I like to cook for 1/2 hr. stirring twice, then turn the oven off and let the Granola stay in the oven without stirring for 1 hour.

Can add Raisins etc. after it is cooked.
