General Conference this weekend!!

There isn't a lot going on this week, but still some items we want you to be aware of!!
  • Valuable Items:. We have been made aware of some theft at the church building during Sacrament meeting, and the Bishop wants everyone to know.  So as a reminder, please don't leave valuable items in diaper bags, purses or bags unattended.
  • April 3rd: Logan temple is closed, due to General Conference, it will be open the following Tuesday.
  • April 3-4: General Conference.  Tune into KSL on TV or KSL Radio to listen to conference. Each day there are two sessions at 10:00 am and 2:00 pm.  Priesthood session is Saturday, April 3rd, at 6:00 pm.  There will not be church meetings at the church house this week.
Few things coming up in April!!
  • April 15th: Stake Relief Society Meeting: There is going to be a program and speakers, refreshments will be served after wards.  It will be well worth your time, so make sure you mark it on the calendar
  • April 25th: Fast Sunday, the following week will be Stake Conference so we're having fast Sunday early.
  • May 1-2: Stake Conference.

This week there are a few things to keep aware of, here is a list of the activities coming up, and some items the bishop wants everyone to know.

  • Visiting Teaching: The Bishop wanted each of the sisters to know that we are doing a great job with visiting teaching and wants us to keep up the good work.
  • March 26th: Primary Easter Activity: 4:00 - 5:00 pm at the church.  Please bring an egg carton.  A parent is invited as well.
  • March 27th: Young Women Broadcast: 7:00 pm at the 15/16 bldg.
  • March 28th: Fast Sunday.  Since General Conference is the following weekend, we will have fast Sunday a week early. The lesson is from the Nov. 2009 Ensign, talk by Pres. Monson: What have I done for Someone Today?

Relief Society B-day Party!!

This week is full of activities, so much fun going around, it's going to be fabulous!
  • Wednesday, March 17th: Not only is it St. Patrick's Day but there is a Single Mother's Seminar in Brigham City at the BATC at 6:00 pm.  This is a great seminar to find out ways to get help with school and with job opportunities.
  • Thursday, March 18th: Relief Society Birthday Commemoration, at the church starting at 6:00 pm. The theme of the night is Crossroads in Life.  Please try to arrive a little early since there are speakers first.  Dinner and Nursery are provided!! Please come to socialize, be uplifted and enjoy great food!
  • Friday, March 19th: Primary Teacher Appreciation Dinner:  This is for all primary, nursery teachers and their spouses.  Dinner will be at 6:00 pm at the church
  • Sunday, March 21st: Relief Society lesson is Gospel Principles #6: The fall of Adam and Eve.
 There are some other activities coming up in the future, so here they are so you don't forget about them.

    Temple Night, RS, Primary and YW activities coming up!

    Thursday, March 11, is Ward Temple Night, and with a nursery provided at the church from 6:00 pm, this is a great time for a wonderful date night!  The session our ward is going to is the 6:30 pm session (be in the temple chapel before then) but if you can't make it to that session, please try to make it to another time.

    Sunday March 14th: Daylight Savings, set your clock AHEAD an hour.
    Sunday March 14th: R.S./Priesthood Lesson: Gospel Principles #5- The Creation

    Now we have a lot of activities coming up... so it's a Save The Date Extravaganza! Check the online calendar to make sure you don't miss anything, but here's a list of what is coming up for the month of March (and a little past)!
