Save the date!

While this week isn't packed with activities we do have a number of activities coming up make sure you save the date!
This week:

• Womens Basketball Game: 9:00 pm at the 15/16th building
• Sunday Lesson: Safety for the Soul, by Elder Holland (Ens. Nov 2009)

•  March 18th at 6:00 pm there will be a nice dinner, program and lots of fun.  Please make sure you come!

• Stake Relief Society Enrichment:
•  April 15th at 7:00 pm.  More info to come, but it will be a fabulous and fun night.

V.T. and Upcoming events

Visiting Teaching: As this is the season for so many people to be sick, not feeling well, or out of town- we wanted to remind you about visiting teaching.  If you're not able to make an appointment with the sisters you visit, please try to call or even leave them a note:  This counts as visiting teaching, and helps you to keep in touch with your sisters.  So even if you can't meet with your sisters, you can still check on them, make a contact and let them know you are thinking of them.  Please continue to try to meet with your sisters, but know that if you're not able to meet them personally it still counts towards visiting teaching if you call, or leave a note.  The purpose of visiting teaching is to let the sisters know you care about and love them.  Thanks!!

Elder's Game Night: There is a GAME NIGHT!! Elder's are having a game night at the end of February.  The invitation is below, and it will be lots of fun! Mark your calendar so you don't miss it.  Also, make sure your neighbors know about it too, you wouldn't want them to miss out.

Ward Temple Night & Upcoming Game Night

Ward temple night is this Thursday (Feb 11), the 6:30 pm session.  Please try to come.  There will be a nursery provided at the church house from 6:00 pm until after the session.  Since we want to make it to the 6:30 session, please be in the temple chapel before 6:30 pm.  If you can't make it on Thursday, try to make it another day this week!

The Best is Yet to Be

Hey Elders.

Here is a highlight from our quorum lesson on Sunday. We hope to use it as a sort of theme for the month of February. Share it with your families and friends. Go over the talk with them together if you want. It comes from Jeffrey R. Holland's talk, "The Best is Yet to Be" in the last conference edition of the Ensign.

"Faith is for the future. Faith builds on the past but never longs to stay there. Faith trusts that God has great things in store for each of us and that Christ truly is the 'high priest of good things to come' (Hebrews 9:11). Keep your eyes on your dreams, however distant and far away."

YW New Beginnings

• The YW New Beginnings is tonight at the church house.  Parents are invited and encouraged to come.  It will be a spectacular night, don't forget to come!
•  Women's basketball game is Thursday at the 15/16 bldg. at 8:00 pm.
